CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPSThe St. Joseph Knights of Columbus and Ladies Guild offers Catholic scholarships to graduating high school seniors and home school students on a competitive basis. Scholarships will be awarded based on service to the church, as well as activities and leadership in the church, school and community. The dollar amount has not been determined.
The Youth Group and the Knights will work together to put on a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, February 15th, after the 5pm Mass. Proceeds will be used by Youth Group to defray costs for their Steubenville Youth Conference to Missouri this summer.
UPDATING OUR MEMBER DIRECTORY
It is that time again, we have had several changes throughout our parish and it is time to update our member directory. The campaign will kick off in January; however, we want you to provide us your family photo. What better time to do that than the holidays. Please provide us a horizontal photo with a plain background, perhaps a solid colored wall or the outside of your house. The photo needs to be at least 3 inches by 2 inches. We can always decrease the size if they are larger. If you are not sure if one will work, just submit it via email and we will let you know. You can email the photos to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you do not email, you can submit your photo in the box in the Narthex of the church. Please include your name and phone number with the photo. If you are not able to provide us a photo, we will have a limited amount of time set up to take photos at the church. We will publish the dates as January gets closer.
All are welcome to join the St. Joseph’s prayer chain to offer intercessory prayers for those in need. To sign up there are two options to consider. If you would prefer to be notified via phone call, please contact Dorothy Foged at 402-253-2633 to be added. If you would prefer to be notified via text message, please text Julie Richards and type your name and “add to prayer chain” or call 402-881-2407 to be added.
